October-California and Disneyland - part 1

We drove from Mesa to California.  The trip was really easy and the kids were great!

It was fun to have Grandma and Jaycee with us!
The boys really liked the windmills.
Our first day in California involved, more swimming at the hotel.  Outdoor pools are a forgein concept to my Alaskan children.  They loved it!

Holly and Kenny met us there from Utah.  We were SO happy to see them!  It was the first time our kids met. It was fun to have them all together.

Annalee and Bentley were fearless.  Little fish!

 Levi loved Aunt Holly

2nd day in Cali, 1st day of Disneyland.  It really is the "Happiest Place on Earth!"  We loved every minute and that's why there are a million pictures!!

 Lunch break
 Tea cups
 Waiting to see the fairies
We love Periwinkle!  And because we met her, we had to buy the new movie, "Secret of the Wings."  It's Jett's new fav.

Simon was also very excited to see the fairies.  It was so cute to see his face light up.  Simon loves magical things!
This is Terrance.  Levi's "BFF...Best Flying Friend!"
(yes I'm quoting there)
Terrance and the kiddos.  Noah was mad because Adam made him get in the picture.  Noah hates seeing Santa in person and hides and gets all weird.  We found out he feels the same way about Disney characters.
waiting in line for some ride in Tomorrow Land
Look at Grandma having fun!!  I laughed so hard when I saw this picture.  It looks like Grandma is alone, just having the time of her life!  You can't see Jaycee, but she's sitting behind Grandma.
 Kenny and Annalee

Jett loved the Buzz Lightyear ride.  I think we went on it 6 or 7 times while the older kids were riding their rides.  I liked it too!
Grandma was so nice to bring Jaycee along.  Her and Noah were buddies. :)
Unlike Noah, Simon loved all the Disney characters.  At one point we stopped to eat dinner in Mickey's Toon Town and Goofy came out and started walking down the street.  Simon looked shocked and started running after him.  It was so funny.  He was on a mission to meet Goofy!  I followed him just in time to catch him and Goofy, goofin around :)!
Jett spent a lot of time sleeping.  I think the drive to AZ and then more driving to CA just wore him out!
This was the second time we saw Goofy.
This time Simon and Jaycee both went running.
 Asleep again.
Happy as a clam, the best baby in the world.  He rode around in the stroller and was perfect!

You did a great job on those aurora pictures. They are so difficult to catch.
I heard about your song and dance routine for D.A.Y.S. I was sorta jealous I didn't get to see it myself.
