We're up in Eagar again to visit Grandma Slade and she decided to do some fun stuff with the boys. The first thing was to take them fishing. She got Noah a cool batman fishing pole and we headed off to the lake. We first went to Nelson's but it was raining too hard so Grandma told us some true fishing stories (you know the one I'm talking about, "hook in the nose"). Then we headed to South Fork. Simon wasn't interested in fishing so he hung out with me. Noah had a great time telling Grandma to, "put another worm on the line!"
She's such a good sport.
Today's adventure with Grandma will take us to Show Low to go bowling.
Grandma's are SOOOO fun!

Michelle... I'm so glad I found your blog! Getting to see you and your sweet family. Not to mention getting to see my best friend! Thanks for the pictures!
Grandmas are fun! It looks like you guys had a lot of fun in the rain. Just think of all the fishing you and the boys will get to do once you're up in Alaska!
That looks like so much fun! I love it up there! Show Low rocks! Ever been to Trapper's for pie? :0) So when are guys leaving to Alaska? What a fun place to live!
I loved your mom's adventures! One time she took us to Nelson's to fish and we were so excited. Not 5 minutes after we got there she got a hook stuck through her finger! It was yucky! There happened to be this old man fishing next to us and she kindly asked him to pull it out for her. I remember him telling her that she should go home but she bravely said "No I will be fine just pull it out." So that old man yanked that hook out and the barb did yucky things to her poor finger. She never even flinched! I will never forget your mom and how kind she always is. She truly is an amazing woman! (I hope you don't mind me reading your blog every once in a while!)
Your boys are adorable! I also think that your eyes are glowing in that picture! Beautiful!
hahahahhahahhaaa! I was there for the "hook in the nose"! I totally tell that story everytime I go fishing. :)
Aunt Tina is an AMAZING Grandma! What a fun day!
Totally agree with your quote in the corner of the blog...boys do seem to be full of mischief and dirt. I have a magnent on my fridge that says, "Mothers of boys work from son up to son down."
Oh! I miss fishing so much! Will she take me fishing when I visit in July?
